Annual Conference Delegate

Attends Annual Conference with pastor as Mosaic’s voting delegate.

         

Audio/Visual and Media Team

Runs A/V presentations during worship, manages soundboard and projector, videotapes and records services and maintains Mosaic web page.

           

Back-Up-Sinners

Sing with the band on Community Sunday and other special events such as Christmas.

         

Camp/Outdoor Activities Team

Plans and coordinates annual church camp and other outdoor activities.

         

Children’s Choir—SPLASH!

Open to children age 3 and up, rehearses every Sunday and performs on Community Sunday each month, Easter and Christmas.

         

Children’s Programs

Plans and teaches Sunday school, coordinates Kid’s Worship, provides childcare for Nursery and coordinates Vacation Bible School.

                                                                   

Communion Stewards

Provides communion elements on the first Sunday of each month.

                   

Congregational Care Team

Provides care and support to members of the congregation and advises Pastor when his intervention is needed.

                

Deaf Ministry

Makes sign-language interpreters available for worship and all other church functions when required.

         

Directions Team

Serves as a sounding board and coordinating body for the direction of Mosaic. Members act as liaisons to individual teams.

                                      

Finance Team

Guides the finances of the church based on the mission and values of Mosaic.

         

Historian Team

Track and safeguard the history of the church and its membership

         

Hospitality Team

Creates a welcoming atmosphere by greeting attendees on Sundays, setting up a hospitality table, setting up Program and Visitor tables and being a source of information for and welcoming new visitors.

         

Intercessory Prayer Team

Over 40 Mosaic members of this active team weekly lift the prayers and concerns of anyone asking through emails or in writing.  Weekly prayers are offered in our LifeLinks Newsletter and on this website.  Whether you have a prayer request or would like to join the team, they can be reached by email at mosaicprayers@juno.com   
  

Lay Leaders

Assist the pastor of Mosaic as needed.

                   

Location Team

Keeps on top of rental property options and alternatives.

         

Marketing Team

Creates and implements a strategic marketing plan with focus on reaching new people.

         

Membership Team

Contacts and connects with visitors and invites them to orientation classes with the intent of placement on teams and involvement in outreach.

                                                         

Mosaic Sunday Morning Live! Band

Performs contemporary music at both weekly Sunday services.


Outreach Team

Coordinates support of Mosaic Outreach programs, i.e. support of Casa de Elizabeth orphanage in Imaris, Mexico, Anthony's Breakfast, Community Food Bank, World Care, Humane Borders, Ronald McDonald House, Tucson Center for Women and Children, TIHAN, Casa Maria Hospitality House, Habitat for Humanity, etc., involving church members as part of their service to the community.

             

Spiritual Connections

Encourages and develops spiritual growth and authentic Christian community within the Mosaic congregation.

         

SPRC

Works with Mosaic staff to ensure quality work environment, pay and benefits, evaluation, etc.

                            

Trustees

Responds to facility/property use and concerns, improvements and maintenance.  Is liaison to the property owner.

         

Visitor’s Table Team

Set up and greet visitors each week so that newcomers to the church are able to find resources and directions.


Youth Programs

Provides Christian education and fellowship activities to middle school through senior high students.  In addition to weekly Sunday School (Team Teen), conducts weekly Confirmation classes during the school year .
